A female boss feels threatened by a rumour. To secure her position and power, she begins to play mind games with others in her office, stirring up a hornet’s nest. Who will be the ultimate winner in the ensuing struggle for love, wealth and power?
Created by the Hong Kong director of the highly-lauded "What is Man" presented at CCM in 2008 and "Madame Bovary is Me" performed in 2006, "Design for Living" humorously portrays the struggle that urban people today go through when faced with the myriad challenges and complexities of survival and living, while possibly having to deal with themselves as their own worst enemy. The eminent director Edward Lam has dramatized and directed several plays covering subjects on youth, culture, education, entertainment, politics and gender. In recent years, through theatre, education and writing, he has been probing into what is happiness and self-awareness and focusing on the realities and challenges of urban life and society.
The iconic actress-director and Golden Horse award-winner Sylvia Chang ("Tempting Heart", as well as popular Taiwanese idol Joseph Cheng and actor/host/comedian David Wang will be the stars onstage.

"Survival calls for intelligence while living requires wisdom."
