The Peony Pavilion - New Kun Opera (Parts I, II, III)

This new version of Kun Opera The Peony Pavillion, dedicated to youth, features artists from the two margins of the Taiwan Strait in a production directed by renowned Chinese playwright Bai Xianyong. The opera maintains the original essence of playwright Tang Xianzu - eulogizing love, freedom and the purity of youth. Performances of the production in Taipei, Hong Kong, Suzhou and Shanghai were highly acclaimed by the critics and the public.
