Sunday, 15 September at 16:00
Monday, 16 September at 20:00

Programme:

Rearrangement of characters from Lu Xun's famous works, Chinese version of "Ghost".

After a great success of the drama Antiques, Zheng Tian Wei, from the Beijing People's Art Theatre, has come up with a new classic masterwork. Collaborating for the first time with famous director, Wang Yan Song, they worked out a new concept of rearranging the spirit, ideas and characters from six of the famous literature of Lu Xun's.

Each specific character from Wuchang Nudiao are extracted from Lu Xun's works: Regret for the past, The Misanthrope, In the Tavern, The Story of Hair, Wuchang and Nudiao. Characters in this drama possess a talent of bizarre versus reality in their own fantasy world. The performance vividly reveals the sarcasm and irony of today's society and the colourful world.
