he Macau Cultural Centre
was inaugurated on March 19th, 1999. Overlooking the waterfront, the
state-of-the-art design is now a new urban landmark of Macau.
The Centre marks a new era in the cultural history of Macau
by offering a unique venue for events emerging with the creative dynamism linked to the
broadest, most fertile concept of cultures and arts.
Extending over an area of 45,000 square meters, the complex
consists of two multi-purpose buildings including the Macau Museum of Art building and the
Auditoria building with a landscaped park in between. |
