獻給女人，獻給電影，獻給一個城市。無論哪個切入點，這部純電影都有趣得非常稀罕。幕開，我們來到陌生城市，用美男的眼睛，尋覓幾年前深愛的一張面孔。在露天咖啡館、車站、街頭，鏡頭細緻的掃過一張張面孔風景：在說話的、沒話的、有所思的、無所思的……還有髮絲、微風、陽光、樹葉……流動中，速寫著忽明忽滅的愛情。蕭菲終於出現在玻璃的倒影裡，他只能跟蹤，等候開腔的時刻……全片幾乎沒有對白，只有城市聲響所奏出的天然樂章。

Um bonito jovem deambula pelas ruas estivais de uma cidade europeia à procura de Sílvia, uma rapariga que ele ali conheceu há 6 anos. Nos cafés, faz retratos das caras de mulheres jovens; nos bares, vê as raparigas dançarem; tudo pela procura da mulher do seu passado de quem já mal se lembra. Quando acredita tê-la encontrado, segue-a pela cidade para se assegurar que é mesmo ela — o que leva a uma confrontação tão enigmática quanto a própria Sílvia. Sem praticamente qualquer diálogo, o realizador espanhol Guerín explora o requintado desejo pelo sempre elusivo amor perfeito.

A beautiful young man wanders the summer streets of a European city, searching for Sylvia, a girl he met there six years before. In cafes, he sketches the faces of young women; in bars, he watches girls dance; all in his quest for the barely-remembered woman of his past. When he believes he has found her, he follows her through the town to be sure—leading to a confrontation as enigmatic as Sylvia herself. With barely any dialogue, Spanish director Guerín explores the exquisite longing for an ever-elusive perfect love.
