土生葡人是葡萄牙人與華人在澳門所生的混血後代，這些人不只透過獨有的外貌證明他們是中西交匯的結晶品，他們的習俗、語言及日常生活的點滴更是多元文化混合的最好証明，算得是澳門活著的歷史。然而，在全球一體化趨勢下飛速變遷的新澳門裏面，這群代表澳門歷史的人群將何去何從？鏡頭把這些澳門兒女的舉手投足捕捉下來，再讓攝影機成為他們內心的傳聲筒，將這個族群紀錄下來，讓下一代、下下一代都能夠看到這些活著的歷史。
Os Macaenses, descendentes crioulos dos portugueses e dos chineses de Macau, são a história viva da sua terra natal. Não só constituem uma prova física do relacionamento harmonioso entre o Ocidente e o Oriente como a sua cultura, o seu patuá, e os seus costumes ilustram cabalmente este multiculturalismo. Contudo, face à globalização e à incerteza da sua continuidade na era pós-colonial, o que será que o futuro reserva para os macaenses? A nossa câmara capta as suas xuxumecas (fofoca, conversa fiada), o seu espírito jovial e o seu amor à terra natal, documentando estes momentos de sobrevivência de uma ‘comunidade no ocaso’. Este documentário funciona igualmente como um megafone, divulgando e deixando registada para a eternidade a voz dos Filhos da Terra...
The Macanese, Creole descendents of the Portuguese and Chinese inhabitants of Macao, are the living history of their terra natal (birthplace). These people are not only a physical proof of the harmonious blending between East and West. Their culture, their patua (patois), as well as their customs best illustrate this multiculturalism. However, with globalization and the uncertainty of their continuance in the post-colonial era, what does the future hold for them? Through our camera, their chuchumecas (small talk, gossip), joyful spirit, and love for their terra (land) are captured, documenting the surviving moments of this “sunset community”. This documentary also acts as a megaphone, spreading and leaving a trace of the voices of the Filhos da Terra (Sons of the Land) for eternity…

澳門，這個賭場林立的東方拉斯維加斯城市，經濟高速發展帶來的貧富懸殊背後，隱藏著多少悲情故事？吸毒者，作為一個被視為社會邊緣族及帶罪者的雙重身分，在這段紀錄片的訪問裡道盡苦樂與自省，在深沉思索卻又帶些有阿Q精神的中國人社會裡，他們怎樣包容自己？怎樣為自己的生活作解釋？又怎樣與毒品糾纏不清？
Macau é conhecida como o Monte Carlo do Oriente, mas o surto económico provocado pela liberalização do jogo em 2002 deixou para trás os menos favorecidos. Este documentário mostra-nos como é que uma pessoa se vicia da droga, ao mesmo tempo que descreve as noções que a sociedade chinesa tem sobre este assunto. Pelo meio, seis toxicómanos chineses de Macau são entrevistados, confessando os seus receios e remorsos, enquanto reflectem na vida que levaram. Como é que eles expõem os seus sentimentos contraditórios ao admitirem as suas identidades de ‘viciados na droga’? Como encaram eles a injecção de heroína, algo que consideram agradável e imoral ao mesmo tempo, numa Macau em rápida mudança?
Macao is known as the Monte Carlo of the Orient, but the booming economy following the liberalization of Macao's gaming industry in 2002 left the underprivileged behind. This documentary film allows viewers to witness how the drug addiction process occurs, while outlining how much is known about the issue in Chinese society. This is interspersed with interviews of six Macao Chinese drug users that share their fears and regrets, while reflecting on what they have done in the past. How do they present their mixed feelings of accepting their own identities as "drug addicts"? How do they deal with injecting heroin, which they find pleasurable and immoral at the same time, in a fast-changing Macao?

這部紀錄片是作者對現今澳門社會狀況發展的演繹，雖然借鑒了一些學術研究項目為基礎，但卻無意將之製作成一部學術紀錄片。作者嘗試捕捉澳門的內在靈魂，保留這城市的回憶。《350米》帶領觀眾漫遊十月初五街的24小時，體驗澳門仍存活的舊有風貌。這部紀錄片旨在重拾回憶，挽留消逝的傳統，以短促的旅程展現前景不明朗的生活方式。作者希望透過這紀錄片提醒觀衆：單靠高樓大廈和金錢，難以建立文化認同感、和諧城市及促進社會發展。
Este documentário procura interpretar as tendências sociais do Macau actual. Ele tenta capturar a alma profunda da cidade, e preservar a sua memória. Este documentário é um acto de amor pelas pessoas de Macau, às quais os autores acreditam pertencer. 350 metros é uma viagem de 24 horas pela Rua Cinco de Outubro, um vestígio vivo daquilo que Macau em tempos foi; uma viagem curta por vidas que estão a desvanecer e a braços com incertezas. Com este documentário, queríamos despertar memórias e legados que estão a desaparecer. Em suma, esperamos que 350 metros seja uma chamada de atenção para o facto de que a identidade cultural, a harmonia e o desenvolvimento social raramente se constróem apenas com cimento e dinheiro.
This documentary is an interpretation of the current social trends in Macao. It attempts to capture Macao’s inner soul and to preserve its memory. It is an act of love for the people of Macao, people that the authors believe themselves to belong to. 350 meters is a 24-hour journey through Cinco de Outubro Street, a living remnant of what Macao once was; a short trip through dwindling ways of life now facing uncertainty. With this documentary, it was our objective to bring up memories and vanishing legacies. In short, we hope 350 meters will be a reminder that cultural identity, harmony and social development are hardly ever build up on just cement and money. |
