澳門從來都是個移民城市，有大量的流動人口，他們或者在這裡短暫停留，或者在這裡開枝散葉，而我們要尋找的就是一段七、八十年代新移民潮的回憶。本片通過對蓮姐及鍾先生的深入訪談，追尋他們來澳的故事，從他們二十年來截然不同的經歷，反映當時大多數新移民的遭遇，而兩位主角對年青人的看法及自身的身份認同，又能否給時下青少年一個反思？另外，亦從一個年輕人Laura（蓮姐女兒）的角度出發，多年前她跟隨母親從內地來澳，面對當年新移民的經歷，她又有什麼見解?本片同時亦邀請現任立法會議員吳國昌先生對本澳社會結構與變遷作深入分析，解構七、八十年代移民潮的前因後果，和觀眾們一起翻開一頁頁新移民歷史。

 

Macau tem sido uma cidade de imigrantes, com uma população flutuante. É um lugar escolhido para trabalhar temporariamente ou como residência permanente. Este documentário explora as memórias difíceis dos imigrantes durante os anos 70 e 80. Laura é uma adolescente que veio para Macau com a mãe, ainda em tenra idade. O que pensa ela sobre a experiência de ser imigrante naquele tempo? O documentário inclui uma análise profunda feita pelo deputado Ng Kuok Cheung sobre a relação causa-efeito da explosão da imigração durante os anos 70 e 80, a estrutura social e actuais tendências.

 

Macao is being a city of immigrants with a fluctuating population. It is either a place for a short stay or as a permanent residence. This documentary leads us to explore the harsh memories of immigrants during the 70s and 80s. Laura is a teenager who came to Macao with her mother at very young age. What does she thinks about the experience as an immigrant in that time? The documentary includes a profound analysis of the cause-effect of immigration outburst during the 70s and 80s, the social structure and its trends, featuring legislator Ng Kuok Cheung.
