羅馬尼亞新世代旋風繼續勁吹，《布加勒斯特以東午後8分》(第31屆香港國際電影節)之後，波蘭布爾又自創電影類型（今次是「後犯罪片」），再在康城連奪評審團大獎及國際影評人獎。革命有不同演繹，法律原來更多蠱惑，小鎮差哥跟蹤吸毒學生，一心起出背後毒品拆家，以為水到渠成之際，上司急急召回，動用「寶典」訓斥不打麻鷹打雞仔的道理，過程黑色荒誕，教人哭笑不得。文字演繹權永遠不公平地傾斜，小人物的良心一文不值很悲哀。

 

Provavelmente o melhor filme deste ano, “Polícia, Adjectivo” é a nova película, inteligente e arrasadora, do realizador de “12:08 A Leste de Bucareste”. O enredo principal parece bastante simples – um jovem polícia à paisana, Cristi, tenta interceptar um adolescente suspeito de distribuir charros na escola. Mas o filme é muito mais do que isso, e, numa cena brilhante, Cristi é obrigado pela mulher a ouvir uma balada romântica piegas, por duas vezes. O que se segue é um diálogo divertido e sagaz que põe a nu, num só golpe, tanto a linguagem como a sociedade. Vencedor do Prémio FIPRESCI e Prémio do Júri, no Festival de Cinema Cannes.

 

Arguably the finest film this year, “Police, Adjective” is the stunning and intelligent new work by the director of “12:08 East of Bucharest”. The main plot seems simple enough – a young undercover cop, Cristi, is trying to track down a teenager suspected of distributing joints at school. But the film is about much, much more, and in one brilliant scene, Cristi is forced by his wife to listen to a cheesy romantic ballad – twice. What ensues is a smart and funny exchange that dissects both language and society in one fell swoop. FIPRESCI and Jury Prize, Cannes Film Festival.

好一部探討警權的電影！警察執法，但若法律不合理怎麼辦？警察真的沒個人思考？而當兩地的法律標準不同，執法者應如何justify？看過太多以暴易暴、正邪對立的警匪片，是時候認真坐下來，談談甚麼是懲罰的意義了。羅馬尼亞幾十年前錯過了東歐新浪潮的契機，這幾年像追回逝去日子，拍出不少佳作。《字典與警鎗》冷靜沉著，打破類型片常規之餘，又充滿哲理及啟發性。今天很多人開始關注警權問題，不如由這部作品開始討論吧。
