來自內地的阿德為了支付病重母親的手術費，和舅父阿偉一起到澳門賭錢，他們在地下賭檔贏了很多，但阿偉受不了城市的各種誘惑，甚至搞上了阿德的舊情人微妮。比阿德早來澳門的微妮逢賭必輸，還欠了一身債。一次激烈爭吵中，阿德誤以為自己殺死了阿偉，想和微妮逃離澳門。狡猾的微妮引誘阿德接近警察阿堅，以取得能換得自由的重要信息……

 

Tak vem a Macau com o seu tio Wai, na esperança de ganhar dinheiro para pagar a cirurgia de sua mãe. Frequentam as casas de jogo e ganham muito dinheiro. Mas, ao ritmo das suas vitórias, Wai vai sendo cada vez mais distraído por outras tentações da grande cidade, como acontece com Wynnie, a ex-amante de Tak. Tak é convencido que matou Wai numa rixa violenta por causa de Winnie. Então, tenta encontrar uma maneira de fugir de Macau com a ex-amante. Mas Winnie convence-o a entrar num jogo impossível de recusar: a sua liberdade em troca de informações fornecidas a um polícia local ...

 

Tak comes to Macao with his uncle Wai, hoping to win money to pay for his mother’s surgery. They go to the gambling dens - and win big. But as their winnings grow, Wai becomes increasingly distracted by the temptations of the big city, Tak’s old lover Wynnie included. Misled to believe that Tak had killed Wai in a fury brawl over Wynnie, he must find a way to flee Macao with her. But she lures him into a gamble that he cannot refuse: their freedom in exchange for information to a local policeman…

澳門回歸十週年紀念日之前，三位導演在澳門關前街的小餐廳裡同意一起完成《在澳門》這個作品。Marcio第一次從葡來澳，澳門的一切一切都新鮮刺激，他有拍不完的畫面、走不完的景點，澳門讓他的攝影機舞不停。Ivo回歸前住在澳門，也在這裡完成了他的第一部作品。十五年後他在澳門探索，是漂泊的靈魂覓回原有的痕跡。當異鄉人試圖用廣東話去追往事時，那份謙卑至虔敬的態度讓人肅然起敬。朱佑人的軌跡一直停留在這個地方，每天生活仍然繼續，就像他身邊的朋友一樣。可是十年前十年後，細水流長，原來生命婉轉而過。三位導演，透過影像，在澳門劃下深刻一記。

 

Macau, dez anos depois da transferência de soberania para a República Popular da China. Três realizadores, dois portugueses e um chinês, questionam o passado e o presente do território, enquanto procuram pistas para o seu futuro. O que resta da presença portuguesa? Qual o papel de Macau na nova China em crescimento? Continuará a ser Macau uma ponte entre o Oriente e o Ocidente? Três visões vão ser apresentadas acerca do mesmo território, o que trará diferentes perspectivas sobre o que aconteceu a Macau durante os primeiros 10 anos de reintegração, de uma forma especial, na Grande China.

 

Macao, Ten years after the handover to People’s Republic of China. Three Director’s, two Portuguese and a Chinese one question the past and present of the territory while tracking clues about their future. What’s left from the Portuguese presence?  What role does Macau play in the new, rising China?  Will Macau remain as a bridge between the Orient and Occident? Three viewpoints will be presented over the same territory; these will bring different perspectives about what happened to Macau during these 10 years of reintegration, in a special way, into the great China.
