How to play “48 Rush Hours”:

You have just 48 hours to do the whole video shooting and editing, with about 5 minutes length (The organizer has the right to stop the screening or cut the exceed time in a video). The topic will be announced at 12 p.m. on the first day (March 26) by local SMS and at CCM’s website.Then, let’s get to work! Apply and start your production at once… As soon as you finish your video, submit it before 12 p.m. on the third day (March 28)!

 

The organizer will then display all the videos at 2 p.m. After the screening, the jury will announce the results and award the creative teams.

 

Video format:

There are no restrictions regarding the shooting equipment… you can use mini DV, HD, Beta, digital camera or even your cell phone camera! The final work has to be submitted in a DVD playable format (3 copies).

Judges from the film and video industry

 

Award:

Winning videos will be awarded with a MOP 2,000 cash prize (Maximum 5 winners)

 

Eligibility:

 No age limit or nationality restrictions (Applicants under 16 must provide legal guardian’s signature);

 Each participant (Individual or in group) must submit one video only.

 Applicants who submits their works will be rewarded with one ticket coupon valid for a selected programme of  "Macao International Film and Video Festival 2010"

 The CCM’s staff cannot join the event

 

Remarks:

 Participants are free to choose the film setting, however, if necessary, it’s their responsibility to ask the necessary permits to film in certain venues.

 Videos with adult content, coarse language, violence and violating copyrights are rejected.

 CCM will not take any responsibility at legal issues and/or lawsuits against the participant filed by third parties
