Determined to find her parents, fleeing from the evil clutches of Miss Hannigan, the orphanage’s spiteful mistress, little Annie escapes to the wondrous world of New York City. There, she finds a new family at Oliver Warbuck’s mansion—a lonely, eccentric billionaire that will change her life forever. Displaying impeccable vocal skills and energetic dance, the show colourfully depicts the tensions between children’s spontaneity and grownup cunningness. As our heroine tries to vigorously glue her life back, we will cheer the overcoming of adversity in an optimistic celebration of love and the power of family.
