箏樂欣弦─陳佩欣古箏獨奏音樂會
This concert is a fusion of traditional and modern guzheng music that will take the audience on an
in-depth exploration of the diverse styles and charms of the guzheng. Throughout the concert, we
aim to showcase the accomplishments of local musician Chan Pui Ian, who has dedicated years to
studying at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music, as well as to promote the guzheng as an
iconic traditional Chinese musical instrument.
The concert will feature performances by the Macau Zheng Ensemble and a number of outstanding
local musicians. In addition to playing classic guzheng compositions, the concert will also present
five stylistically diverse original compositions by Chan Pui Ian, including the world premieres of
"Tango for the Dancing Strings " and "Moonlight of Tomorrow." We look forward to providing the
audience with an unforgettable musical evening, allowing everyone to delve deeper into the essence
of Chinese culture and guzheng music.
