Hélène Grimaud, Piano
Camerata Salzburg
Tremendous French pianist Hélène Grimaud teams up with the Camerata Salzburg to present a pristine rendition of Viennese School classics.
Grimaud is among the few musicians who didn’t have to rely on the prestige of winning competitions in order to rise to prominence. The irreverent pianist’s interest in a wide spectrum of fields, from literature to wildlife conservation, has also contributed to her musical perception and insight. Many are the melomanes captivated by her intense and enchanting interpretations.
Hailing from Mozart’s hometown, the Camerata Salzburg is known for performances “full of revolutionary energy and utopic potential”. A regular at major events, from the Gstaad Menuhin Festival to the Mozart Woche, the orchestra stages highly sought-after performances everywhere they go around the world. Tickets for their Macao concert back in 2018 were quickly sold out, proving them to be the cultural ambassadors of a characteristic sound that classical music lovers should not miss!
