With seven exhibition areas scattered through four levels, the Macao Museum of Art is an exciting presenter of both contemporary and classic works. Its top floor is reserved for a comprehensive display of Chinese pieces, from painting and calligraphy to ceramics, while the third floor presents exhibitions curated from the Museum’s permanent collection of early western and contemporary local art. The second floor offers a spacious area reserved for a wide range of special exhibitions, located right above various spaces where, eclectic, international exhibitions are often held on the first two floors.
Closed on Mondays, the museum opens its doors from 10:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m on the remaining days of the week.
